my love.

Although this post comes two days early, I am writing it regardless since 'simple smattering' and I will not be spending any  quality time together this weekend with darn good reason.  Sunday, November 7th is our one year anniversary and we are thrilled.  So let me tell you that this blog is written for the man of my dreams, my best friend and partner in adventure (and crime :)) my husband, my Wesley.
Scooter, from the moment you made me weak in the knees in the ORU bookstore, my attention and heart have been captivated.  When you asked my Mom and Dad if you could be the one to take care of me and my heart, I was moved.  When you surprised me in Tulsa by sending a note card saying, "I'm coming Friday" and then dining my poor college student booty the whole weekend, I knew you would forever take care of me, not simply physically but emotionally and spiritually too.
You make me laugh when I'm about to cry, and you just seem to know what words to say, or not to say when "I'm done," to make me know that I can overcome any obstacle.  You have been an encourager and an architect of the BIG dreams and passions in our life together.  But you lead with such humility and understanding that our Daddy is the inspiration and strength in which we are able, and that is beautiful.
You have never, ever made me feel less than a valued, beautiful woman and I can say boldly that you bring out the best in me.  Thank you.  Thank you for loving me when I know I am unlovable.  Thank you for listening to me when I need to go around "that" mountain one more time.  And thank you for reminding me that Jesus love never fails me, never.
Wesley Christopher, Happy 1 Year Anniversary.  I love you my dangerously handsome Scotsman..Let the journey continue.  Besos :*
