And the hardwood floors...

The time has come for a decision to be made, a decision of where to live next.  Our lease at our wonderful little, cozy apartment complex is coming to an end, and with a sense of adventure we enter the "market".  Now this "market" is a fairly new world for us, as we didn't have much trouble choosing the last place to live.  It was in a great area, close to both mine and my hubby's jobs and quite affordable.  Safe, comfortable and convenient.  And we could most definitely continue with the same living situation with the same "comforts", which would be just wonderful.  But quite possibly not at wonderful as this potential situation!  This fresh opportunity would find us in an old, charming Victorian house.  Along with a number of other tenants, we would share a property that is less than a mile from downtown.  The apartment is unique and wears the most beautiful hardwood floors.  The kitchen displays some 1950's coloring, but is clean and has much potential.  The original structure of the house was built in 1898 and has gone through many expansions and makeovers.  I adore this home.  Financially it adores us too, with a steal of a price.  And my heart is warm.

Now we wait, we wait to find out if it will be available to us or torn from our grasp only to be held by another.  Dramatic I know, but if you saw the street this house is on, and those hardwood floors you be be dramatic too!  So there you have it, and soon you will have the update that will determine the next year of our lives :).
