Quirky, not corky. Touch and go, not touching gold. And you most definitely do not call a person testing a new medicine a "gerbal", but a guinea pig. I must say my well read, musician of a man hubby knows his stuff. And he, with utmost kindness, helps me "know my stuff" a little better too. Which reminds me of the first month of our marriage when he would notice a spelling error of mine, or my misuse of a word. Ooh man, I would get so offended and just felt like he was trying to make me look dumb.
Well friends, he wasn't trying to make me look stupid, he genuinely was just attempting to help me out. Some backgroud about Wes and I.. I am incredibly stubborn, like my Papa, and Wes is a natural teacher. I am the baby child of my family, and he is the oldest. Our disagreements often resemble siblings just in the way that we bicker. Humorous now, tough then :). All that to say, Wes doesn't ever mean anything rude when he corrects me and frankly I'm learning to not be a defensive gal who is always offended. Once again, the crazy growing that takes place in marriage. Beautiful, difficult, and worth every moment of it.
So what I meant to say in my last post was, "its the quirky things that make an old house so great"..
Love you Scooter :)
